It's more than a haircut. Here's what every expat should know before their first appointment.
Bratislava hair prices are significantly lower than Western Europe. A men's barbershop cut typically costs €15–€30; a women's cut and blowdry €25–€60; colour from €50–€120+ depending on technique. Tipping is customary — 10–15% is standard and always appreciated. Most salons accept card payment, but smaller barbershops may be cash-only. Ask before you sit down.
The biggest expat frustration is describing exactly what you want.
